Winchester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Winchester, MA is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing team. Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts LPN license.
• Strong communication and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to handle situations with tact and professionalism.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CNA staff and other nursing personnel on assigned units.
• Provide direct nursing care including medications, wound care, IV administration and other skilled nursing interventions as assigned.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ status to physicians, families, and leadership.
• Transcribe and carry out the physician's orders accurately.
• Participate in admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Conduct rounds to ensure resident needs are met and staff follow policies.
