Qualified candidates will have an approved LPN program, active state licensure (or pending licensure), and current BLS/CPR certification as required by practice setting.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by state practice if an assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
