Job summary
Paycom - ATS is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide hands-on care in a healthcare, long-term care, or assisted living setting. You will monitor residents, administer medications, and ensure comfort and safety according to individualized care plans.
The role requires completion of an accredited LPN program and an active LPN license, with strong communication and teamwork skills. Experience in EMR systems is a plus, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach is essential.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
- Current and active LPN license.
- Willingness to work in healthcare, LTAC, or assisted living environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic nursing care in accordance with care plans.
- Administer medications as prescribed and document administration.
- Monitor vitals and report abnormalities to supervising staff.
- Assist with activities of daily living and resident comfort.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and team for coordinated care.
- Advocate for residents and communicate with families as needed.
