Job summary

The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled nursing care under physician or midlevel provider supervision.

You will perform nursing procedures, monitor patients, and support post‑operative and diabetic care, in a fast‑paced outpatient setting. Responsibilities include rooming patients, documenting vital signs, administering medications, preparing exam rooms, and coordinating lab work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Practical Nursing.
• Current Practical Nursing License in the state of Ohio.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high‑quality patient care within the LPN scope of practice, including rooming patients, vital signs, meds/IVs, and care procedures.
• Assist providers with examinations, procedures, testing, and real‑time documentation.
• Monitor patient conditions, report changes, educate patients, and coordinate labs and follow‑up care.
• Maintain clinical operations by sterilizing equipment, managing supplies, and supporting scheduling and clerical tasks.
• Demonstrate professionalism through punctuality, teamwork, communication, and completion of duties.
