Job summary

Cleveland Clinic’s Twinsburg Family Health and Surgery Center is seeking an LPN for the OB/Gyn unit. You will provide hands-on patient care under RN/physician guidance, collect data, and implement nursing care plans while supporting patients and families with education.

The role requires an approved practical nursing program graduate, an Ohio LPN license, and BLS certification. Expect a 8:00am–4:30pm schedule with 1 Saturday per month from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of practical nursing.
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or physician.
• Collect and document objective and subjective data and observations about patients.
• Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
• Implement the current nursing care plan, medication or treatment and communicate patients’ responses.
• Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.
• Educate patients and family members.
