Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic's Wooster Family Health Center as an LPN Ambulatory in the OB/GYN department. You will provide hands-on nursing care, support prenatal and gynecologic services, and collaborate with a dedicated care team in a respected health system.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning, education, and routine lab tasks. Current Ohio LPN license and BLS certification are required; prior patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing.
• Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under the direction of an RN, physician, optometrist and/or podiatrist.
• Collect and document objective/subjective data and observations about patients.
• Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
• Implement the current nursing care plan, medication or treatment and communicate patients’ responses.
• Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
• Perform routine laboratory tests.
• Educate patients and family members.
• Participate in the departmental orientation of new employees, share knowledge and provide guidance when assigned.
