Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking an LPN in the Mental Health unit for Minot, ND. You will provide recovery-oriented nursing care under direction of a Registered Nurse, monitor patients, administer medications, and participate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and emotional well-being.

You will engage in crisis intervention, documentation, and patient-family education while upholding trauma-informed, patient-centered care in a secure behavioral health environment.

Qualifications

• Current or temporary LPN license in North Dakota or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required within orientation period.
• LPN program completion evidenced by licensure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' mental and physical health status and report changes.
• Provide nursing care and therapeutic interventions within LPN scope.
• Administer medications and monitor therapeutic response and side effects.
• Participate in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety protocols.
• Document care, observations and medications in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about treatment, medications and resources.
