Qualifications

• Graduate of an LPN program is required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• ACLS required if working in Emergency Department.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required if working in Emergency Department within 180 days.
• LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with health care professionals to deliver quality nursing care.
• Guide ancillary staff and ensure holistic patient care within organizational policies.
