Job summary

CarePartners in North Carolina seeks an experienced LPN/LVN to provide nursing care in our Day Center. The role includes triaging participants, administering medications per MAR and standing orders, assisting with labs and wound care, and coordinating with providers and families.

Documentation and patient education are essential. The ideal candidate will have an LPN/LVN license, an associate degree or vocational training, BLS and First Aid certifications, and at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 15 days of start date.
• First Aid Basic within 30 days of start date.
• Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN).
• Associate degree or vocational school graduate.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for participants and triage as needed.
• Administer medications per MAR and standing orders.
• Assist with labs, procedures, and wound care.
• Coordinate care with providers, staff and families.
• Document care delivery and patient condition; use Nursing Process.
• Educate patients about pharmaceuticals and health care.
