Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an LPN to join our nursing team in Georgia. The role utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for Center patients.

The position requires current LPN licensure in Georgia and BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days). The role includes providing direct patient care, performing assessments, documenting plans, and ensuring safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Georgia; BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of two years nursing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical and emotional needs and provide appropriate care.
• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; develop plans of care with physicians.
• Document nursing interventions and communicate progress to the physician.
• Administer medications and monitor for safety and effectiveness.
• Maintain infection control practices and safety standards.
• Assist with cross-training and education of staff as needed.
