Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is hiring a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver nursing care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will be part of a dedicated team providing support, building community, and fostering lasting relationships with residents and colleagues.

The role requires current LPN licensure and CPR, 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred, and a shift from 3pm–11pm with every other weekend. Competitive hourly pay is offered along with a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience preferred.
• Prior experience with the elderly in paid or volunteer roles is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents’ status.
• Observes and reports changes in resident health to the care team per state regulations.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via case management.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse or exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and uses personal emergency response systems as needed.
