Job summary

Cottage Grove Place in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a hospitality‑focused LPN to join our team on 2nd shift. The role provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises CNAs and OMTs, with a focus on compassionate, resident-centered service.

Responsibilities include assessing residents, updating care plans, reporting to the Director of Nursing, and coordinating with other disciplines to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Currently licensed LPN with the Iowa Board of Nursing.
• CPR certification required or active.
• Minimum two years’ experience in long-term care preferred.
• Current IV therapy certification preferred.
• Willingness to respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs and OMTs.
• Identify resident medical/behavioral changes and update care plans as needed.
• Report to the Director of Nursing on conditions, staff performance, and supplies.
• Administer nursing care per physician orders and established standards.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive services.
