Job summary

Cottage Grove Place is recruiting for a hospitality focused LPN to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This part-time 2nd shift role provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises CNAs and OMTs.

You will assist with daily living activities and monitor care plans in a supportive senior living community. We seek a licensed LPN (Iowa) with CPR certification and preferably 2 years in long-term care, with IV therapy certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Currently licensed LPN with the Iowa Board of Nursing.
• CPR certified.
• Minimum two years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Current IV therapy certification preferred.
• Willingness to be available for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and promote independence.
• Identify resident medical/behavioral changes and develop/reassess care plans.
• Provide daily report to the Director of Nursing on conditions and needs for nursing supplies.
• Provide nursing care per physician orders and established standards.
• Coordinate nursing care with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive resident care.
