Job summary

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in senior care or related field.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license current in the practicing state; CPR certification.
Training from an accredited licensed or vocational nursing program.
English proficiency sufficient to perform duties and handle emergencies.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Administer medications in compliance with federal and state regulations and company guidelines.
May assist with admissions including assessments and documentation.
Develop and document acute and long-term care or service plans.
Track clinical data as directed by the director (wounds, infection control, etc.).
Provide health-related consultation within the community.
Notify physicians or family of health changes with proper documentation.
Respond to emergencies promptly and communicate with staff.
Provide resident and staff educational meetings.
Maintain confidentiality of resident information and assist with discharges as needed.
