Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Medina Hospital is seeking a part-time LPN to join the OB/GYN team. You will provide hands-on patient care under supervision, assist with procedures, and help deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an approved Practical Nursing program, an Ohio LPN license, and BLS certification. Typical shifts are 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with duties including data collection, nursing assessments, medication administration, and

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing.
Current Ohio license as a Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN).
BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

Provide patient care activities under the direction of an RN, Physician, Optometrist and/or Podiatrist.
Collect and document objective/subjective data and observations about patients.
Complete nursing assessments and report all data.
Implement the current nursing care plan, medication or treatment and communicate patients’ responses.
Observe patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatments.
Perform routine laboratory tests.
Educate patients and family members.
Participate in the departmental orientation of new employees, share knowledge and provide guidance when assigned.
