Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our senior care team in the United States. You will coordinate nursing care, manage medications, and assess residents to align with physician orders and resident choices.

Ideal candidates possess an LPN license, experience with seniors, strong critical thinking, and the ability to lead CNAs/RMAs. A flexible schedule, ongoing trainings, and a commitment to quality care are essential.

Qualifications

Current LPN license to practice nursing in the state where the community is located.
Experience working with the senior population, preferably in assisted living or LTC.
Must be a team player who works well with others and has experience supervising staff.
Must possess critical thinking skills, ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently with strong organizational skills.
Must be in good physical condition and be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be willing to work an 8-16 hour flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
Must attend all required trainings, CEU’s and staff meetings.
Must be certified or willing to take and pass the certification class required by the state in which employed.

Responsibilities

Coordinate nursing care and ensure the delivery of physician orders and resident choices.
Execute medication management plan with periodic review and physician communication when changes are needed.
Continuously assess resident needs with updates to care plans and documentation.
Respond to emergencies timely and in a calm, competent manner.
Maintain thorough documentation and daily logs; report incidents and changes in condition.
Work in a team fashion to meet resident needs and participate in activities.
Assist with meals, monitor diets, and assure adequate nutrition.
Provide motivation and direction to CNA/RMA staff.
Attend required trainings and staff meetings.
