Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Augusta is seeking a compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care to an adult female client in Laconia, NH. This part-time role focuses on preserving dignity, comfort, and independence in the home setting.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor wellbeing, remind about medications, and coordinate with the nursing team to ensure safe, high-quality care. A NH LNA license and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and NH LNA license.
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid NH driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Provide safe and compassionate assistance with daily routines while promoting the client's dignity and independence
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
• Monitor the client's condition and report any changes, concerns, or needs to nursing staff or supervisors
• Assist with medication reminders as directed
• Assist with basic household tasks as needed to maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
• Support mobility and transfers as appropriate to the client's needs
• Communicate closely with the healthcare team to deliver the best care possible
