Job summary

The Courville at Nashua, a Senior Healthcare Community in Nashua, NH, is seeking experienced Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) to join our dedicated staff.

We offer full-time shifts (7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a) with 40 hours weekly, every other weekend and holiday, and shift differentials plus NH fee payments upon hire. Responsibilities include compassionate personal care, ADLs, and observing residents; active NH LNA license required.

Qualifications

• Active NH LNA license.
• Recent clinical experience, long-term care experience preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with residents.
• Punctual, dependable work ethic.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor.
• Ability to work well in teams to provide a positive care environment.
• Excellent communication skills and command of the English language.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions with or without reasonable accommodations required by Federal, State or Local law.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship, personal care, and assistance with ADLs
• Dependability and good communication are essential for this position
• Provide patient care under the direction of nursing staff; including bathing (including use of whirlpool tub), dressing, assisting with dining and ambulation program
• Assist with transporting residents to and from meals, activities, and appointments
• Answer call lights and make rounds regularly to ensure residents’ safety and comfort
• Observe residents and report any abnormalities or changes in condition to supervisor
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment and follow Infection Control Policies
