Job summary

Safe Path Care Ltd. is seeking empathetic Live-In Carers to support clients across Kent and Sussex, helping them live independently at home.

You will provide personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, medication support, mobility aid, and health monitoring, with full training provided and a supportive team behind you.

Flexible rotations and accommodation within clients’ homes ensure work-life balance while delivering meaningful, client-centred care.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is preferred but not essential; full training provided.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Empathy and compassion for individuals in need.
• Reliable and dependable.
• Flexible to adapt to different client needs and schedules.
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle advantageous.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Companionship: Offer emotional support and meaningful conversation to improve quality of life.
• Household Tasks: Light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a safe home.
• Medication Management: Help with medication administration as outlined in care plan.
• Mobility Assistance: Support with moving around home and attending appointments or activities.
• Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in health or behaviour to professionals.
• Emergency Response: Act promptly in emergencies to safeguard clients.
