Home Instead is hiring Live-In Caregivers to provide one-on-one care for older adults in their homes. Care Pros stay with the client during live-in assignments, offering companionship, personal care, and support around the clock.

This role emphasizes building meaningful relationships with a single client, with a schedule that includes overnight availability and regular responsibilities such as meal preparation, mobility assistance, and medication reminders.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and patient demeanor required.
• Dependable and responsible attitude.
• Comfortable overnight stays in client's home.
• Ability to provide personal care when needed.
• Clear communication with clients, families, and Home Instead.
• Ability to work independently in a client’s home.
• Must pass background screening.
• Must meet Home Instead driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and walking assistance.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with errands and appointments.
• Provide transportation when needed.
• Support clients with Alzheimer's or dementia.
• Observe and report changes in client’s condition.
• Offer reassurance, safety, and dependable companionship.
