Job summary

The State of Ohio, Developmental Disabilities - Gallipolis Developmental Center, is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide skilled nursing care at 2500 Ohio Avenue, Gallipolis, OH 45631. This part-time, permanent position offers varied hours and a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Under the supervision of an RN/Physician, you will perform nursing procedures, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, document care, and participate in team meetings.

Qualifications

• License to practice nursing as an LPN in Ohio.
• Proven coursework or certification in medication administration.
• Dialysis IV Therapy certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer nursing care within scope of practice.
• Work under supervision of RN/Physician/other licensed clinician.
• Perform skilled nursing procedures and treatments as needed.
• Observe and document patient conditions; report to RN/Physician.
• Provide patient teaching and follow-up care.
• Respond to emergencies and perform CPR/AED when required.
• Maintain medical records, medication administration and incident forms.
• Manage supplies and coordinate with pharmacy for meds.
