Yona Solutions is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team in Hamtramck, Michigan. You will transport and process linens, operate washing machines and dryers, fold and stock laundry, and maintain clean, safe laundry areas while delivering friendly service to residents and staff.

Experience is not required but preferred; training will be provided. The role emphasizes reliability, ability to follow instructions, and a respectful approach to working with residents.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning chemicals and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and with residents and staff.
• Demonstrates flexibility and integrity in a care environment.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background check and background screening.
• Laundry experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transport soiled and clean linen carts between areas.
• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sort, load, and unload laundry; fold and distribute clean linen.
• Maintain accurate linen inventory records and supply levels.
• Keep laundry areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Deliver laundry items as required and provide courteous service to residents.
