Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning processes and chemical handling.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
• Works well with residents and staff, maintaining professional boundaries and care.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Laundry experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean linen into dryers.
• Folds, sorts, and distributes clean linen into carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds, and distributes customer clothing as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of laundry areas and equipment; ensures safety and order.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock levels and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified to residents and staff.
• Puts customer service first, providing a caring and respectful atmosphere.
