Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida with multi-state eligibility or ability to obtain licensure before start.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Labor & Delivery.
• BSN preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS and BCLS certification (or instructor) required within specified windows.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data relevant to patient health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Evaluate obstetrical patients for any condition affecting mother or fetus.
• Participate in routine deliveries and Cesarean sections as needed.
• Advocate for patient safety and efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients and families about medications, procedures, and treatments.
