Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- NRP certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Minimum of one year of recent L&D RN experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor health status and vital signs during labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Administer medications and provide necessary interventions.
- Educate patients and families on labor processes and postpartum care.
- Document patient information and maintain medical records.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies with appropriate interventions.
