Job summary

Liberty Senior Living seeks an experienced dishwasher to maintain cleanliness across the dish room, kitchen, and food preparation areas in compliance with state and local regulations.

You will operate automated dish machines, wash pots and pans, stock clean dishes, glassware and silverware, and assist with setup and breakdown for catered events, ensuring sanitation of dining rooms and teamwork within the dining services team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a kitchen/culinary food service operation, preferably healthcare or senior dining.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
• Ability to work with a variety of staff and residents with differing values and dispositions.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member within the dining services group.

Responsibilities

• Clean the dish room, kitchen, and food preparation areas in compliance with state and local regulations and policies.
• Operate automated dish machines; wash pots and pans manually; stock clean dishes, glassware and silverware.
• Assist with setup and breakdown for catered events.
• Ensure sanitation of dining rooms including private, community, and activity rooms.
• Follow recipes and food production schedules based on resident census.
• Report any items in need of repair to the Executive Chef.
• Perform daily tasks per facility and departmental policies and procedures.
• Handle chemicals, empty trashcans, and mop as required.
