Job summary

Liberty Senior Living is seeking an experienced Utility Prep Cook to support daily kitchen operations in a resident-focused dining program. You will follow recipes and production schedules, assist with food preparation, and help maintain nutrition, flavor, appearance and quality of meals.

Strong emphasis on sanitation, safe food handling, and teamwork with culinary staff. Prior kitchen experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in kitchen/culinary food service operation.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and production schedules based on resident census.
• Records and reports over-production, underproduction, and waste.
• Assists with preparation of foods to maintain nutrition, flavor, appearance, tenderness, and quality.
• Assists with setup and breakdown for catered events.
• Maintains clean, sanitary kitchen and safe food handling practices.
• Promotes a positive customer experience with residents and guests.
