Hawthorn Retirement Group is seeking a friendly, reliable dishwasher to join the dining services team in Elk Grove, CA. You will wash, store, and help serve meals while supporting the community’s kitchen operations.

The role emphasizes sanitation, teamwork, and ability to work in a busy environment, with opportunities to cross-train in other kitchen duties under the Community Executive Chef.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation.
• Maintains food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state or provincial regulations.
• Demonstrates patient and creative attitude with ability to think outside the box.
• Strong communication skills in English with residents and staff.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, wash and store dishes following Hawthorn Senior Living procedures.
• Assist in bussing, serving, and delivery of room trays if needed.
• Set tables in the dining room and assist Chefs/Cooks with cleaning areas and equipment.
• Complete dishwasher temperature logs as required.
• Work as part of the food services team to ensure safe, efficient kitchen operation.
