Job summary

MaineTouch LLC is seeking Personal Support Specialists to deliver in-home non-medical care to adults and seniors, promoting safety and independence. No experience required; comprehensive training and ongoing supervision are provided.

You will assist with daily living tasks, mobility, meals, and companionship while following each client's plan of care and maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Active PSS certification in Maine or willingness to enroll within 60 days of hire.
• CNA (active or inactive) accepted.
• No experience required – training and support provided.
• Must not be listed on the Maine CNA/Direct Care Worker Registry with substantiated findings.
• Ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Access to a working cell phone for scheduling and documentation.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred (assignment dependent).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home, non-medical personal care and support.
• Assist with activities of daily living per client plan.
• Support mobility and transfers with or without aids.
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, and errands.
• Provide companionship and observe changes in condition.
• Document accurately and on time, following care plans.
