Job summary

CorsoCare is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide in-home care for clients in the Highland, Walled Lake, Milford, Fenton, and surrounding areas. The role includes assisting clients with daily activities, personal care, and mobility in private homes.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, and ideally experience in healthcare or geriatrics. A valid driver’s license and insurance are required; state training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance required.
• Training per state requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide care support to private homes within assigned geographical region.
• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, dressing and mobility.
• Follow medication administration protocols as identified for each client.
• Take vital signs and report abnormal results to Care Coordinator.
• Maintain patient dignity and privacy and document according to instructions.
• Complete daily charting during shift and with approved abbreviations.
• Provide transportation to appointments as requested.
• Assist with light meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Support activity programming and routine daily living tasks.
