Job summary

CorsoCare in Michigan is seeking a Home Health Aide to provide compassionate care in private homes across Clinton Twp, Wayne County, and surrounding areas. The role involves assisting residents with daily activities, personal care, and mobility, while maintaining dignity and privacy.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED (preferred), healthcare or geriatrics experience (preferred), a valid driver's license with proof of insurance, and ability to follow state-required training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare or elderly care experience preferred.
• Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance.
• Training per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care support to private homes within assigned geographical region.
• Comfortable driving up to an hour (45-50 miles).
• Bathing and cleaning residents as needed (bed bath, shower, whirlpool).
• Assist with dressing, grooming, nails, and eyewear care as needed.
• Assist with meals and light housekeeping.
• Follow medication administration protocols for each client.
• Maintain privacy and dignity of clients and follow Resident Bill of Rights.
• Complete daily charts as required and report changes to Care Coordinator.
