Job summary

Avanta Care Home Care - Atlanta is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. In this role, you will be crucial in assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while working independently and collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities include assisting clients with bathing, dressing, preparing meals, and monitoring health status. Requirements include experience in home health care, strong observational skills, and a compassionate demeanor.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home health care or a related field is preferred.
• Strong observational skills to effectively monitor patient conditions.
• Ability to perform meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning duties.
• Knowledge of hospice care principles is a plus.
• Certification in CPR is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Prepare nutritious meals for clients.
• Monitor health status and report concerns to healthcare providers.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness in the client's living environment.
• Provide support for clients with cognitive impairments.
• Administer CPR if necessary.
