Avanta Care Home Care - Atlanta is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to support clients in their homes in Bondville, VT. You will assist with daily living activities, prepare meals, monitor health, and promote safety and well-being while collaborating with healthcare professionals.

The role emphasizes reliable, punctual care, excellent communication with clients and families, and adherence to care plans. Prior experience is preferred but not mandatory, CPR certification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in home health care or related field preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong observational skills to monitor patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and ensure nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
• Monitor health status and report concerns to healthcare providers.
• Offer companionship to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain client living environment with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide memory care support for cognitive impairments, ensuring safety.
• Administer CPR if necessary and assist with catheter care as required by health plan.
