Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to deliver in-home care and personal assistance to adults and seniors in Maine. CNAs support clients one-on-one in their homes, promoting comfort, safety, and independence.

Role offers flexible scheduling with day, evening, weekend, and overnight options, plus ongoing clinical and supervisory support and advancement opportunities within the caregiving pathway.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Maine (required).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, toileting, and hygiene.
• Providing mobility assistance, including transfers, ambulation, and safe use of assistive devices.
• Measuring and documenting vital signs and basic health observations.
• Supporting daily care tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed linen changes, and meal preparation.
• Assisting with meal service and feeding when needed.
• Offering companionship and emotional support while encouraging client independence.
• Monitoring clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to nursing or supervisory staff.
• Completing required documentation accurately and on schedule.
• Upholding infection control, safety procedures, and HIPAA compliance.
