Job summary

Eminence Home Care is seeking compassionate Home Caregivers with driving capabilities to join our team. You will provide personalized in-home care and assist clients with transportation to medical appointments, social activities, and other engagements.

The role emphasizes safety, independence, and high-quality companionship in a respectful, patient-centered environment. We value empathy, reliability, and strong communication as you collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; caregiving certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; reliable vehicle required.
• Previous experience in home care or related caregiving roles is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Physically able to assist clients with transfers and mobility.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being.
• Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting any changes promptly.
• Administer medications as directed and comply with established care plans.
• Drive clients safely to medical appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Maintain client transportation logs and ensure vehicle cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals about care needs and progress.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment.
