Job summary

Happy to Help Caregiving is seeking reliable, compassionate individuals to join our caregiving team. You’ll provide essential non-medical support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans in their own homes, helping them stay safe and comfortable.

This role emphasizes relationship-building, consistency, and a respectful, patient demeanor as you support clients with activities of daily living and personal care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks and physical mobility support.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship through meaningful conversation, engagement, and emotional support.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and general hygiene.
• Prepare meals according to dietary needs and assist with feeding if required.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, dishes, trash, and tidying.
• Give medication reminders and prompts for scheduled medications.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers, including use of mobility equipment.
• Support clients at home, including transportation to appointments and errands.
• Provide respite care for family caregivers and document shift activities.
