Happy to Help Caregiving is seeking reliable, compassionate individuals to join our caregiving team. As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans in clients' homes, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent.

This hands-on, relationship-driven role emphasizes consistency, empathy, and professional conduct while building real connections with clients and families and following individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Kind, patient, trustworthy, and respectful demeanor.
• Ability to follow written care plans and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engagement through conversation, activities, and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to client preferences and care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe home.
• Provide medication reminders per the care plan (no medication handling).
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers using mobility aids as needed.
• Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or outings.
• Offer respite care to give families a needed break while maintaining continuity of care.
• Document shift activity and communicate changes to the office.
