Village Caregiving is seeking dependable, compassionate in-home care providers to assist seniors and veterans in Manitowoc, WI. No prior experience is required, with paid training and CPR certification available.

We offer flexible schedules, a supportive team, and opportunities for raises and bonuses. Responsibilities include helping with daily activities, mobility, medications, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Current CPR certification is preferred; certification can be obtained through our training process.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes.
• Ability to follow health and safety guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of meal preparation and housekeeping.
• Ability to follow dietary restrictions and client care instructions.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to perform the physical duties required for caregiving.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
• Providing mobility and walking assistance inside and outside the home.
• Offering medication reminders.
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed.
• Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
• Assisting with shopping and transportation to appointments when needed.
• Helping clients complete physical therapy exercises and other recommended activities.
• Communicating with clients, family members, and office staff regarding care needs and changes in condition.
• Keeping accurate records of hours worked, services provided, and required care notes.
• Reporting unusual changes or concerns to the appropriate office staff.
• Responding appropriately and responsibly in emergency situations.
