Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate in-home caregiver in Kentucky to assist clients with daily living tasks and mobility. You will support medication reminders, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments, while maintaining safety and dignity.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, reliability, and a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life. CPR certification is preferred and a high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience is preferred but not required.
• Current CPR certification as per American Heart Association standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation as needed.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
