Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking reliable candidates to cover a variety of shifts with flexible scheduling in Kentucky. The caregiver role supports clients with daily living activities, medication reminders, mobility assistance, personal care, and light housekeeping in-home settings.

Paid training includes CPR and there are incentive bonuses for excellent performance. Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or equivalent, willingness to undergo drug testing and background checks, and

Qualifications

• Paid training provided, including CPR.
• Must pass drug test and background check.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to office personnel and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
• Record days and hours on agency care sheets.
