Job summary

Village Caregiving is seeking reliable caregivers to join our Lexington team for in-home care with flexible shifts. We provide paid training, CPR certification, and opportunities for advancement in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, personal care, medication reminders, light housekeeping, shopping, and reporting any concerns to the office promptly. Must pass a background check and drug test; reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass drug test.
• Background check required.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Remind clients to take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with mobility around the house or outside.
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping including meal preparation.
• Record days and hours on agency care sheets.
• Report any unusual incidents to office personnel and family members.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
