Delta Homecare is seeking compassionate caretakers to provide in-home support, helping clients maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and medication reminders while adhering to individualized care plans and maintaining client confidentiality. Strong communication and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Providing support with mobility, transfers, walking, and positioning.
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating when needed.
• Performing light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Assisting with laundry, changing linens, and routine household tasks.
• Offering companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Encouraging clients to remain active, engaged, and as independent as possible.
• Providing medication reminders according to the care plan and agency guidelines.
• Monitoring clients for changes in condition and reporting concerns to supervisors.
• Following individualized care plans and service instructions.
• Accurately completing required notes and documentation.
• Protecting client privacy and maintaining confidentiality.
• Communicating professionally with clients, families, and team members.
• Following company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
