Job summary

Delta Homecare is seeking compassionate caretakers to provide in-home support for individuals needing daily living assistance. You will help with personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship while maintaining client dignity and independence.

Good communication, reliability, and the ability to follow care plans are essential. Background screenings and state/regulatory compliance are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene).
• Support mobility, transfers, walking, and positioning.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe home.
• Assist with laundry and changing linens.
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Encourage clients to stay active and independent.
• Provide medication reminders per care plan and guidelines.
• Monitor client condition and report concerns to supervisors.
• Follow individualized care plans and service instructions.
• Accurately complete required notes and documentation.
• Protect client privacy and confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and team members.
• Follow company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
