Delta Homecare is seeking compassionate Caretakers to provide in-home support, helping clients maintain independence, dignity, comfort, and well-being in their own homes.

Qualifications

• Compassion and patience in caregiving.
• Reliable and professional with a positive attitude.
• Strong communication with clients and families.
• Ability to understand and follow care plans and instructions.
• Willingness to pass background screenings and comply with requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Support mobility, transfers, walking, and positioning.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment.
• Assist with laundry, linens, and routine chores.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage activity and independence where possible.
• Provide medication reminders per care plan and guidelines.
• Monitor condition changes and report to supervisors.
• Follow care plans and document notes accurately.
• Protect client privacy and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families and team.
• Follow company policies, safety standards and regulations.
