Job summary

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home support, companionship, and daily living assistance to older adults. You will help with mobility, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation, enabling clients to thrive safely at home.

Flexible scheduling across days, evenings, weekends, and overnights, with a focus on reliability and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving or home care is a plus.
• State certification and license in good standing if applicable.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, insurance (if required for client transport).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in/out and document all tasks.
