Job summary

No Worries Care Tacoma is seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to support individuals in their own homes, delivering person-centered care with empathy and professionalism.

This role helps older adults with daily living, safety, meals, mobility, and companionship, aiming to improve well-being. CNA/HCA preferred or willingness to obtain one, with flexible schedules and paid orientation/training.

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience.
• CNA or HCA credential preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience working with elderly clients is a strong plus.
• Ability to work independently with professionalism and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).
• Support mobility, transfers, and physical assistance as needed.
• Prepare meals and ensure nutritional needs are met, including special dietary requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment through light housekeeping.
• Foster social engagement and companionship to promote emotional well-being.
• Assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence.
• Administer medications per care plans and monitor compliance.
• Observe and report changes in client health or behavior to healthcare providers or family members.
• Provide supportive care for geriatric clients, including those with age-related illnesses such as dementia, arthritis, or mobility impairments.
• Collaborate with families and care teams to ensure coordinated, personalized care.
