Job summary

Home Helpers Bloomington is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home care including companionship, homemaking, and personal care for seniors, new or expectant mothers, and others in need.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal prep, assisting with daily living activities, and transportation. You will follow a client care plan and collaborate with the Home Helpers team and family to tailor support.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for caring for those in need.
• Caregiving experience is preferred, but not required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Have compassion for clients, including seniors and/or those with disabilities
• Must be a good communicator
• Must be able to follow and complete a list of tasks within a given time period
• Must be punctual and dependable
• Must be self-motivated and have a professional, pleasant, positive disposition
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Hold a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record
• Have a smart phone and email account
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Willing to take a TB test
