Job summary

Home Helpers is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care, including companionship, homemaking, and personal care for seniors, disabled, or others in need.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal prep, daily living assistance, transportation, and following each client's care plan in collaboration with family.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for caring for those in need.
• Caregiving experience is preferred, but not required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Have compassion for our clients, including seniors and/or those with disabilities.
• Must be a good communicator.
• Must be able to follow and complete a list of tasks within a given time period.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must be self-motivated and have a professional, pleasant, positive, and helpful disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Hold a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Have a smart phone and email account.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willing to take a TB test.

Responsibilities

• Providing caring and dependable companionship
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Preparing meals and snacks
• Assisting with activities of daily living and personal hygiene (like dressing, eating, bathing and toileting)
• Transportation to and from client’s appointments and activities
• Carrying out a Care Plan and tasks specific to your client
• Creating compassionate and supportive solutions to your client’s unique needs by collaborating with your Home Helpers team and client’s family
