Happy to Help Caregiving is seeking a dedicated Non-Medical Caregiver (Direct Care Worker) to provide one-on-one in-home support for seniors, veterans, and adults with disabilities in Fayette & Greene County. You will assist with ADLs, companionship, mobility, and a safe, respectful home environment.

No medical or nursing experience is required, though it is preferred. We offer flexible schedules (Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN), paid orientation, and employee rewards.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old with valid photo ID and US work authorization.
• PA State Police criminal check and PA Child Abuse History clearance.
• FBI fingerprint check if lived in PA within last 2 years.
• Negative TB screening before direct client contact.
• Direct care worker training or state-approved onboarding.
• High school diploma or equivalent and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.
• Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL assistance, companionship, and a safe home environment.
• Assist with mobility and fall prevention.
• Perform light household duties and meal preparation.
• Provide medication reminders for pre-dispensed meds.
• Drive clients to appointments and run errands.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain professional boundaries and respect clients’ homes.
