Job summary

Open Arms Solutions is seeking dependable and compassionate in-home caregivers to support seniors throughout Downtown Chicago and nearby neighborhoods. You will provide one-on-one care in clients' homes, assisting with daily activities, meals, mobility, and medication reminders.

We offer flexible scheduling, opportunities to work closer to preferred areas when available, and a supportive office team focused on caregiver development and meaningful client relationships.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience within the past 2 years.
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between client locations.
• Smartphone for communication and care-related documentation.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a tidy home
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and activities
• Observe changes in client condition and communicate updates
• Complete basic daily care documentation
